Today’s lesson has actual workbook pages! Make sure you’ve got the My Book of Characters ready to go, and help your student understand how to use it.
We’re introducing nouns today; in my experience students usually pick up on them pretty quickly, but if they seem to be struggling, you might want to add some oral instruction!
This kind of fill-in-the-blank spelling can be hard, and today’s is doubly hard because they might not know what squall means–in either definition. This kind of recall is good on the brain, though! Help them through it, but try to get them to think of the answers themselves. Remember there’s an answer key if you get stuck!
