Reynard and the Hen

Each unit has a final project, and sometimes (as in this unit) the last lesson is dedicated to creating it. Use the organizers to walk your student through creating their presentation, and help ensure they are doing their best. Gather an audience or help them video it!

This lesson draws together the concepts of protagonist/antagonist and character point of view. The student can probably do it independently, but this is a good one to have an oral discussion about the literary concepts!

This is basically a review lesson.

Today’s lesson is short, but requires a lot of thought! The student may need some help with brainstorming.

Why might the Lion have let the mouse go? Most likely, he wasn’t hungry! Leo has also shown himself to be a capricious character.
